ABLE (Achieving Better Life Experience) accounts are now available in Indiana.  These accounts allow individuals with disabilities which began before age 26 to create tax exempt savings accounts without affecting eligibility for certain public benefits, including Medicaid and SSI, up to certain limits.  For Medicaid, an exempt limit $298,770 for 2016.  For SSI benefits, the exemption limit is $100,000.  Many limitations and conditions apply.  Please contact Steve Kincaid for further details.
